Rev. Dr. Abraham Philip, New Testament professor, Dean of Studies at the Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, Kottayam, received his M.A. from Kerala University, B.D., M.Th from Serampore University, M. Phil from Oxford University and D.Th from Serampore University. His Doctoral Dissertation is “The importance of the Christological confessions in the Fourth Gospel: a critique of Johannine Christology.” As an ordained minister of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church, he has served as the Dean of M.Th and D.Th. Studies at the FFRRC, Dean of Studies and Bursar at the Mar Thoma Theological Seminary. His area of interest is Johannine New Testament Theology. He is an avid writer and has authored many books in English and in Malayalam.
