Academic Requirements

  • The D. Th. Candidates have to be on the campus until the completion of the three years of Residential Period.
  • Each Student has to work under the supervision of a Professor appointed by the FFRRC Faculty as the convener of the Residential Committee.
  • The Residential Committee consists of three members consist of the Convener, one professor nominated by the  FFRRC faculty and One nominee of the Sathri.
  • The First year is the Assessment period and during the Assessment Period, the Candidate has to complete three Scholarly Assessment Papers and get the approval of the Assessment Committee and the Research Committee of the Serampore University.
  • The candidate has to present the Thesis proposal and the same should be approved by the Faculty and the Research Committee immediately after the completion of the Assessment papers.
  • All the students have to present two academic papers at the student Seminar Session; one during the second year and the other during the third year.
