Rev. Dr. V. S. Varughese, Professor of Religions at Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, received his B.Sc and B.Ed. from Kerala University; B.D. and  M.Th from Serampore University; Th.M. and Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. His Doctoral Dissertation is “Religion, Renaissance and Protest: Sanskritization and Protestantization.” As an ordained minister of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church, he has served as the Principal of Dharma Jyothi Vidya Peeth, Faridabad and is currently, the Visiting Faculty of MSOT Seminary, Mullanthuruthy and E.J. Institute, Kompady and Chief-Editor of Mar Thoma Seminary Journal of Seminary.
